SAIL CONNECTIONS is the only independent charter brokerage and management company in the South Pacific region solely dedicated to charter. With offices in Australia and New Zealand, the company, founded by Jeni Tidmarsh in 1990, has built an international reputation for excellence in service to charter over a period of 16-years. 

SAIL CONNECTIONS charter function encompasses two key industries, the tourism and the marine industries.  In Tourism, SAIL CONNECTIONS promotes Australia as a premium charter destination and Australia’s finest charter vessels worldwide. Jeni is also working with SYBA to encourage the owners of larger foreign-flagged superyachts to come to Australia, which will only serve to enhance our charter industry, and increase international awareness. At the coalface she is matching consumers to the right vessels to meet their needs, and planning and personalising their on-the-water holidays, to ensure a 5-star charter experience. 

In the marine industry SAIL CONNECTIONS markets and manages charter vessels on behalf of owners, advising on charter contracts, charter rates, service levels, and markets their vessels worldwide through various media. 

SAIL CONNECTIONS has an international presence amongst industry colleagues, yacht designers and media.  Jeni attends or has a presence at international charter shows including Monaco, Antigua, St Maarten, Fort Lauderdale, Dubai, Genoa, and Shanghai. She also inspects superyachts worldwide so is well informed as to the perspective of the Australian charter industry.

Jeni Tidmarsh has been a member of Superyacht Base Australia for 4-years.  Jeni has personally sailed oceans, explored sailing destinations worldwide, raced competitively and has owned her own yacht.   She has been a forerunner in an emerging industry in the South Pacific and knows and understands the charter industry implicitly.

Presented with the Award for Recognition of Excellence to an Individual or Business in the Australian Superyacht Chartering Industry at the recent Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, Jeni says “I am excited about the future of all aspects of Yacht Charter in this region.
