Our charter team travels to destinations worldwide to inspect boats and to get first-hand experience of the cruising grounds. We’ll share our local knowledge to help you plan the best sailing itineraries and onshore connections to ensure you get the most from your holiday.

Experienced sailors can take a bareboat yacht charter themselves.  If you want to totally relax, Sail Connections can organise a skipper to take responsibility for your charter yacht, and/ or a cook to provide your meals. Even for experienced sailors, your carefully chosen yacht charter crew become your local guides. It's fun to find authentic local restaurants and specialist local fare and entertainment, best endorsed by your crew.

Navigation and Sailing Licenses
A sailing license (Boatmasters or Yachtmasters Coastal Navigation Certificates) and a VHF operator’s license is a compulsory requirement in Croatia for a bareboat yacht charter.  You are also required to complete a sailing resume of experience.  Sail Connections will seek prior approval of your documentation before you travel to avoid any last minute headaches.  You must carry the original documents with you on board, in case of an inspection by the port authority.
