Catana produces the graceful gazelles of blue water cruising cats that lend themselves equally to bareboat charter. The Catana 50 is a popular option well suited to bareboat charter at the larger end of the range. Wow, what an excellent sailing machine and in the right place. The yacht performed as you indicated. She easily went upwind at 10-12 in 25 knots with single reef in the main and 30% furled on the jib. The reacher was also a great sail.
