Sail the Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Charter a fully crewed Lagoon 450 catamaran in the Andaman Islands

Set sail into one of Asia’s last great sailing frontiers aboard the crewed Lagoon 450 Muzical. Take a cruise that's tailored in every aspect, where luxury comfort meets soft adventure on an itinerary that can be designed for couples, families and explorers.

The Andaman Islands comprise the northern part of the Indian territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They lay in the eastern Bay of Bengal and offer a rare mix of pristine natural beauty, remote anchorages and a fascinating cultural tapestry. With turquoise seas, white-sand beache, and rainforest-clad shores, this is sailing and recreation that's both adventurous and comfortable.

On your crewed Lagoon 450 your group of up to six guests will enjoy the perfect balance of space and service. A professional skipper and crew handle the sailing, local navigation and onboard hospitality, leaving you free to relax inside or out, dine alfresco in the cockpit or explore ashore at unspoilt islands. The catamaran’s spacious design makes it ideal for families and groups, offering private cabins with ensuite facilities and generous living areas.

Your itinerary can include the vibrant marine life of Havelock and Neil Islands, the serene waters of Ritchie’s Archipelago, and the sense of discovery that comes with visiting islands few travellers ever reach. Each day brings opportunities to snorkel coral reefs, kayak in secluded lagoons or simply unwind on deck as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

At Sail Connections we work with trusted local operator Island Spirit Charters to ensure everything runs smoothly, while offering you the benefit of our independent advice and global experience. A charter aboard Muzical in the Andaman Islands is a rare chance to blend modern yachting comfort with untouched tropical beauty.

Arrival & Transfers

Arrive at Port Blair International Airport (Veer Savarkar Airport), where our representative will meet you, assist with paperwork and arrange transfers to the Island Spirit Charters base.

The base is on Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), just off the beach from the Seashell Resort. From Port Blair there are two transfer options:

  • Makruzz high-speed catamaran ferry – 1.5 hours, operating 8:00–14:00, from €20–€35 depending on class.
  • Private powerboat transfer – 1 hour, €1250.

Both ferry and jetty departure points are about 15 minutes' drive from the airport. Our agents will also assist with port formalities as needed.

When planning flights, allow a minimum three-hour layover when connecting through Indian airports, as luggage must be collected and re-checked for the domestic flight to Port Blair. We recommend choosing an international airport in southern India for the most seamless transfer.

Visas & Formalities

Most international travellers require an Indian visa. Apply online prior to arrival; approvals typically arrive within 24 hours.

Customs allowances on arrival:

  • 100 cigarettes
  • 2 litres of alcohol (packed in checked luggage)
  • Currency notes exceeding US$5000 must be declared

Late arrivals can be accommodated. Let us know your schedule and we will find a suitable solution.

Currency & Onboard Conveniences

The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR). ATMs are available at Port Blair, Swaraj Dweep (Havelock) and Shaheed Dweep (Neil Islands). Currency exchange is available at SeaShell Hotels in these locations.

Credit cards are generally accepted only at larger hotels and resorts, so carrying sufficient cash is recommended.

Muzical is a well-equipped Lagoon 450 catamaran with sleeping for 6 guests in three queen cabins with ensuites, and separate accommodation for her assigned crew.

On Board Muzikal:

  • Generator & watermaker
  • 220V AC electricity when generator is running
  • International adaptors in sockets and USB outlets in cabins
  • Wi-Fi onboard; for reliable phone service, a local SIM is advised
  • Three ensuite double cabins with A/C
  • Spacious indoor & outdoor dining areas
  • Kayaks, SUPs & snorkeling gear
  • Professional skipper & chef offering refined sailing expertise
  • Fine on-board dining featuring the delicate flavors of Indian and Thai cuisine
