Yacht Charter FAQs

What are the must-visit islands in Dalmatia?

Brač, Hvar, Vis and Korčula are widely regarded as the headline islands of the Dalmatian region, each offering a distinct character and experience.

Brač combines attractive harbour towns such as Milna and Pučišća with beautiful swimming bays and a more traditional Croatian atmosphere. Hvar is famous for its vibrant waterfront scene, but the island also offers quieter destinations including Stari Grad, Vrboska and nearby anchorages around Šćedro and the Pakleni Islands.

Vis is often considered the most rewarding island for sailors willing to venture slightly further offshore. Komiža remains a favourite among experienced charterers thanks to its authentic fishing-village atmosphere, excellent restaurants and relaxed pace. Korčula completes the classic Dalmatian itinerary with its medieval old town, vineyards and elegant waterfront setting.

Many Sail Connections clients report that some of their favourite memories come not only from the famous destinations, but also from smaller bays, quiet anchorages and lesser-known villages discovered between the headline stops.
