Yacht Charter FAQs

When is the best time to charter a yacht in Greece?

Most yacht charters in Greece take place between April and October, although the season extends into March and November in some regions.

July and August offer hot weather, warm seas and lively harbours but also bring peak holiday crowds and stronger Meltemi winds across much of the Aegean. Many experienced sailors enjoy these conditions, while others prefer the calmer shoulder seasons.

May, June, September and early October generally provide excellent sailing temperatures, pleasant water temperatures, quieter anchorages and better yacht availability. These months are often our preferred recommendation, particularly for bareboat charters and travellers looking for a more relaxed experience.
