The 525E is equipped with a substantial 200 kWh lithium battery bank driving twin 65 kW (88 hp) permanent magnet electric motors. Under electric power alone, the system provides quiet, smooth cruising with zero local emissions. When battery charging is required during extended passages or periods of limited sunshine, an integrated range extender maintains the battery system, effectively providing unlimited cruising capability while significantly reducing fuel consumption compared with a conventional diesel-powered yacht.

Solar panels continuously supplement the battery bank during daylight hours, helping to power onboard systems and further reducing reliance on fossil fuels. For charterers, the result is a quieter, cleaner and more environmentally conscious cruising experience without compromising the comfort, range or practicality expected of a modern cruising catamaran.
